This Privacy Policy explains how nomi (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the nomi mobile application and related websites (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use nomi, we may collect:
- Account information — such as your name, email address, profile photo, birthday, and authentication details when you sign in with Apple or Google.
- Pair and relationship content — information you and your partner choose to share in nomi, including messages, daily moments, photos, answers to prompts, streaks, countdowns, drawings, and similar content.
- Device and usage data — such as device type, app version, approximate diagnostics, and interaction events that help us operate and improve the Service.
- Purchase information — subscription status and related billing metadata processed by Apple and our payments partner (RevenueCat). We do not receive your full payment card details.
- Push notification tokens — if you enable notifications, so we can deliver alerts you request.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, sync, and secure the Service for you and your partner
- Authenticate your account and maintain your pair connection
- Process subscriptions and restore purchases
- Send notifications you opt into
- Diagnose bugs, prevent abuse, and improve product experience
- Respond to support requests and communicate about the Service
- Comply with legal obligations
3. How information is shared
Content you create in a paired relationship is shared with your linked partner as part of the product experience. We also use trusted service providers that process data on our behalf, such as:
- Cloud infrastructure and authentication providers
- Subscription and analytics partners needed to run purchases
- Push notification delivery services
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.
4. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data. Some information may be retained for a limited period where required for security, legal, or billing purposes.

- Update profile details in the app
- Control notification permissions in your device settings
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings
- Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data
6. Children’s privacy
nomi is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
